LINORD RACHEL MOUDOU

Linord Rachel Moudou is well-known as the outstanding Producer & host of Healthy Living on Voice of America Television (VOA TV). Before joining VOA TV, Ms. Moudou worked as an independent broadcast and print journalist, traveling between Africa, Europe and the United States. She worked for TELE-SUD, a Paris-based television station. In 2000, she created, produced, and hosted for four years “Spotlight on Africa,” a bilingual (French-English) television and radio program on Public Access Television and New World Radio in Washington DC. With “Spotlight on Africa,” Linord dedicated herself to promote a more positive image of Africa internationally, through information and entertainment.
Her experience in print includes “Africa Journal”, a Corporate Council on Africa publication, and AMINA Magazine, a Paris-based magazine about women of Africa and the Diaspora.
She has interviewed political figures such as President Amani Toumani Toure of Mali, Joaquim Chissano of Mozambique, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President of Liberia, President Laurent Gbagbo of Côte d’Ivoire, as well as American newsmaker and American government Representatives, and artists like les Nubians, the late Brenda Fassie and Shaguy.
She is the President and CEO of LIRAM Global Communications, a communication consulting agency specialized in international Public Relations, media productions and event planning.
Linord has successfully established herself as a Mistress of Ceremony. She has hosted many events in the United States, Europe and Africa, including the Kora All Africa Music Awards in South Africa, The World Bank/IMF Gala in Washington DC, the Panafrican Music Festival in the Republic of Congo, and Richard Bona concert in Pavillon Baltar, Paris.
