Ibrahim Lawson Fofanah

Mr. Ibrahim Fofanah, a.k.a Abe Lawson immigrated to the United States in 1986 from his native country of Sierra Leone, to further his education aspiration. Shortly after his arrival in the United States, Mr. Lawson was quick to understand the capitalistic mindset of his newly adopted country, and assimilated to survive in the Big Apple, “Life in the City” and culture of New York, where he has resided with his family and built himself a career, and a lifestyle for the last 24 years.

Living, learning, and working in the United States, the Big Apple specifically, during the last 24 years, Mr. Lawson has distinguished himself among the millions of New Yorkers to be a progressive entrepreneur, and a socialite with great and deep passion for life, politics and business. In the 1990’s, he ventured into many businesses  to create jobs and opportunities in New York City while he built himself wealth, business networks and the  entrepreneurial experience to operate and manage Abe Delivery and two other restaurants that he founded in New York City.

Over the years, and recently in 2009, he was the recipient of many entrepreneurial leadership awards and a guest speaker on Entrepreneurial topics at the famous, Columbia University in New York City. He is known to be friends of all, a humanitarian and a philanthropist that you can count on for many progressive community events geared to the promotion of  African cultural experiences and economical development for Africa and Africans in the Diaspora.
