Regina C. Drummond-Hines is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.  She is a 1994 graduate of the University of Virginia where she received a degree in American Government. After graduating from UVA, Mrs. Hines began competing in local scholarship pageants in Maryland.  In the spring of 1995, she was crowned Miss Chesapeake and competed in the Miss Maryland Scholarship Pageant of the Miss America Scholarship Organization.  In the fall of 1995, Mrs. Hines entered the Villanova University School of Law.  In March of 1996, she was crowned the first African-American Miss Philadelphia and subsequently competed in the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant of the Miss America Scholarship Organization. She placed as second runner up and a preliminary talent winner. Mrs. Hines is a 1998 graduate of Villanova and is a full time attorney for the United States Patent and Trademark Office where she specializes in practicing Trademark Law. Mrs. Hines currently resides in Bowie, Maryland with her husband Antonio Hines and their two beautiful daughters, Thierry and Tannah.  In her spare time she enjoys dining out, traveling, antiquing, shopping and spending quality time with family and friends.
