PAGEANT PARTICIPATION RULES

Applicants, please be aware of the following rules, if you agree, then proceed with the application:

1- Applicants must be from Guinea or be of Guinean descent (by all or at least one of the parents or grandparents)

2- Applicants must be between the ages of 17 years – 27years

3- At the time of this application until pageant day, applicants must not be pregnant, married or a parent.

4-  All applicants must be naturally born females

5- At the time of this application and until pageant day, applicants must not be under any modeling, commercial or other pageant contract.

6– If accepted, applicants must not sign any modeling, commercial or other pageant contract during the period leading to the pageant.

7– Applicants for the title of Miss Guinee North America Pageant must be of good moral character and cannot be involved in any activity that will question their moral character at any time

8– Applicants/Finalists for the title of Miss Guinee North America Pageant must never have been convicted of any criminal offence in the past or at the time of application

9– Applicants/Finalists for the title of Miss Guinee North America Pageant must not engage or accept any job offer or activity that could be considered immoral or dishonest.

10– Applicants/Finalists for the title of Miss Guinee North America Pageant must be in good health and physically fit to participate in all our pageant programs and activities

11 Applicants/Finalists for the title of Miss Guinee North America Pageant must not consume any controlled substances such as drugs, alcohol etc.…

12- Contestants under the age of 18 must provide a signed parental consent form provided by the pageant on or before first day of pageant week.

13– By participating, all contestants consent to the use of their images and voices in audio, video and photographic materials and how they are used remain at the sole discretion of the Miss Guinee North America Pageant.  Please note that we will only use images and videos that represent you in a modest and respectful way.

14– All applications must be received on or before May 31st, 2020.

15– Applications received before the deadline will be invited to a meeting/phone interview before finalists are selected.

16– Its mandatory for contestants accepted as finalists to attend all training/ rehearsals and workshops during pageant week.

17- All finalists are responsible for the cost of their hotel, t-shirts, sash. Please note that the pageant has partnered with 4-5-star hotels in Maryland for our pageant week stay. The chosen hotel will provide rooms at a discounted rate to be communicated later and all participants must stay in the hotel chosen by the pageant.

Miss Guinee North America Pageant, its directors, employees, volunteers, and any other personnel involved are not responsible for any injury, accidents of any kind, theft incurred during the Miss Guinee NA pageant week, pageant day and night and or during travel to and from Maryland or to locations during rehearsals. 

Finalists agree to repair and/or replace all costs to lost, stolen, and damaged items including but not limited to: Tiaras, crowns, sashes, plaques, trophies, t-shirts etc.…

Contestants agree to help pageant in sales of tickets and agree to incur charges prescribed towards buying pageant t-shirts to be used for photo shoots and all pageant rehearsals and other activities required during pageant week.
